Victoria Park has often been called the crown jewel of Kitchener and the surrounding neighbourhood is astounding as well. Homes in the area date back to the early 1900s and offer residents an old-fashioned charm that new subdivisions simply can’t recreate. These homes may be older but have stood the test of time and will continue to do so. Many homes in the area have been updated throughout the years to maintain more modern amenities for the homeowners.

Clearly, the main focal point in this neighbourhood is Victoria Park—offering a perfect mix of timeless beauty and modern features. Residents of Victoria Park can look forward to relaxing under the many trees throughout the park, taking a walk around the lake with their family and/or pets, or enjoy a round of soccer with friends or family. Although, that’s not all, Victoria Park also has a creative playground and splash pad for kids, horseshoe pits and basketball courts, and so much more to enjoy.

Moving further through the neighbourhood, residents are just a short walk from the Kitchener’s city center, which often holds events at City Hall and right along King St. Living in this area couldn’t be any more convenient when it comes to these major events—and even for just perusing the shops along King St.—because we all know finding parking can be cumbersome at times.

Public school students in the area can look forward to attending J.F. Carmichael Public School for grades JK-6; Courtland Avenue Public School for grades 7 and 8; and lastly, Kitchener Waterloo Collegiate & Vocational School for high school. Catholic students can expect to attend St. Bernadette Catholic Elementary School for grades JK-8, while high school students will attend St. Mary’s Catholic Secondary School.
