Highland West

KITCHENER WEST

Located on the western end of the city of Kitchener is the neighbourhood of Highland West. Most single family homes of the area were constructed in the 1990s to early 2000s, with new construction just recently completed or still in progress for a variety of condominiums and townhomes. Because of this, residents of the area can expect more modern design and amenities within their homes.

Highland West is perfectly located to serve all its residents’ needs. With the expanding shopping area on Ira Needles, and the already established Highland Hills Mall and Sunrise Center, you are able to find all your necessities along with dining and entertainment. Other great perks of this neighbourhood include a variety of trails and parks, and its close proximity to the Kitchener Public Library.

Public School students of the area can expect to attend the highly rated Sandhills Public School for grades JK-6, before attending Westheights Public School for grades 7 and 8, and finally move on to Forest Heights Collegiate Institute to complete their high school education. Catholic students in the area can expect to attend St. Dominic Savio Catholic Elementary School.
