The Country Hills neighbourhood is an area for families to call home. Country Hills West is a relatively newer development with middle-class suburban homes, located on large pie shaped lots with considerable sized backyards. Country Hills East on the other hand is the newest development, with large homes intimately situated, backing onto plenty of green space.
There are plenty of parks in the area, five major ones to be exact: Lions Park, Countryside Park, Rittenhouse Park, Erinbrook Park and Country Hills Park. Each park offers the residents something different although sports are a clear theme in this community, as each park boasts some form of sports field for residents. Shopping is also just a stones throw away, Country Hills is home to Forest Glen Plaza offering a grocery store, pharmacy and a variety of other small shopping locations. This plaza is also home to a Grand River Transit Terminal, making it a great transportation hub for those who rely on public transportation. Country Hills is also conveniently located near the expressway and the 401.
