The homes in this neighbourhood were built in the 1980s and 1990s featuring rambling lots and 30 foot trees. Upper Beechwood is conveniently located to the shops, restaurants and amenities found in the new Boardwalk development. Public school students can look forward to attending Mary Johnston Public School, offering French immersion, for grades JK-6. Centennial Public School is available for grades 7-8 and those students can then move forward on to Sir John A. MacDonald for their high school education. Catholic students will be bussed to Holy Rosary Catholic School in Westvale for grades JK-8 and continue their education at Resurrection Catholic Secondary School.
