My Experience
For me, although I've lived in many places, Waterloo Region has always been home. I was born and raised in the East Galt area Cambridge. I graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an honours specialization in Spanish and Linguistics. After spending a year abroad studying in Spain, my plan was to be a translator. Having no idea what that would truly entail, I graduated and started working to save for grad school and along that road, my true calling would soon be revealed!
I’ve worked in a variety of industries and for companies like BlackBerry and the University of Waterloo, only to find that although I had good jobs with great companies, something wasn’t right. I was striving for more. Looking back on it now, I realize I’ve always loved real estate and design, and being a business owner is really where I thrive. I used to attend home tours with my mother and her friends when I was young and I loved it! I was the only kid that went on those tours that wasn’t dragged there by a parent who couldn’t find a babysitter. After building a home, starting to invest in rental properties and stalking realtor.ca 24/7, it finally occurred to me that real estate might just be the path for me. I got my license and I haven’t looked back!
Being an investor myself, I love helping investors grow their portfolio. I also love educating first time homebuyers and helping them get into the market. It’s always satisfying to help clients get into their ‘forever’ home as well. Helping clients achieve their goals, whatever they may be, while providing superior service is what I aim for with each and every transaction.
My Approach
My intention with every client interaction is to treat each situation as unique – since after all, no two transactions or clients are alike! Having strong systems in place makes things run as smoothly as possible while leaving room for flexibility along the way is paramount to a successful deal. Information, education, consultation and trust lead the way towards the finish line for my clients – whatever their goals may be!
My Difference
Flexibility
One of the most important aspects of real estate is being able to shift with the tides while always having my clients needs and best interests at the root of all that I do.
Real Estate Obsessed
Yes this might seem like an obvious one, but I LOVE real estate, design, architecture and the fundamentals of investing. It can be hard for clients to visualize changes that they can make to a space, so I have a lot of fun helping clients see the potential in a space and help them to see what they could create.
Local Lover
Growing up in the Region, I truly had no idea that it would become what it has become. And it’s changing every day, with new restaurants, shops and watering holes popping up all the time! It’s so exciting to see the evolution of this area! It’s great to be able to do business in a place where I’m constantly finding new things to appreciate and new local businesses to support.
