As a young girl I grew up in a very rural area just east of Peterborough, called Keene. Keene was an amazing little pocket in eastern Ontario that was nestled between farmers fields and the beautiful Rice Lake. What a place to grow up! The village itself consisted of approximately 800 people. One main intersection that tied the whole community together. All around us were 1/2 acre lots, beautiful homes and the kids grew up together, playing tag and running from yard to yard. The memories that I have of that childhood are exactly what I want for my two boys. I feel this happening for our family in Guelph!

I completed my college degree and became a registered massage therapist at Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough. I graduated in 2004 and made my way to Guelph. I knew this is where I wanted to start my next chapter. I worked as a registered massage therapist at a busy downtown spa for 6 years before deciding to open my own, very successful, home based clinic. This was my first baby! I was so excited to start my own journey, be my own boss! First, I had to find a place to run my business and also for my husband and I to begin our life as a married couple. Enter our first home. We bought a "fixer upper" and sunk our heart and soul into it. We took pride in every change that we made. This house allowed us to rent out the basement to a friend, run my practice from my house and build equity in the home. This was a great way to start our path down the real estate trail! Three years later we bought our first investment property and through the eyes of new landlords, I slowly started to learn and understand Guelph’s real estate market and also the community that Guelph provided. This journey has resulted in me becoming a real estate professional. This is where I can continue my passion for helping people achieve their goals.
