My Experience
This is the part where I tell you all about myself. I grew up in Burlington which back then was commonly referred to as “Borington” by my peers. I am among those who remember the “new mall” and the “old mall” as the only two trendy shopping/hangout spots in town. Over the years I watched the city grow into the perfect marriage of small town and city-life. It is now a beautiful spot and far from boring. I moved to Waterloo while attending Wilfrid Laurier University and although my time there cultivated many lifelong friends and connections, I always considered Burlington to be my home. After graduation I accepted a position with the City of Burlington and moved back to the Hamilton-Burlington area. Now I live in the community of Waterdown nestled right between Hamilton and Burlington. I love it here and think it is a superb place to raise a family.
Home design has always been a secret passion of mine. As I progressed in my career, my passion for interior design grew. I continually sought out opportunities to flex my design muscles. My husband and I began investing in design projects of our own by buying and renovating homes. With my appetite for design and his skill in construction and home-automation, together we created beautiful smart homes for some wonderful families. I fell in love with the process, so my taking the next step into real estate seemed like a no-brainer.
Real estate was an easy transition from working as a municipal civil servant for 15 years. Both careers are heavily rooted in customer service and care. I have always made sure that every client I help feels important and heard. My approach to real estate is the same as my approach to customer service; creating a great experience.
My Approach
While this is likely when I should make my grand pitch, to be honest I'm not a "sales-y" type person. Choosing a REALTOR® should never feel like an infomercial. If we were to work together, you would be treated like a fellow human being. No sales tactics; just one person helping another find a home. My service would be genuine, my advice would be sound. I would bring my eye for design, creative ideas and integrity, working my hardest to find you a lasting solution.
My Difference
Passion
I am truly passionate about helping people. Don’t get me wrong, a great design project gets my blood pumping too but without people to enjoy it - to me, it’s pointless. Sharing in the experience of helping dreams come true leaves me with the warm and fuzzies.
Integrity
I take pride in what I do and believe in preserving the integrity of TrilliumWest as a whole. Buying or selling a home is a big deal and it should always be treated that way. I do business in a moral and ethical way while achieving results.
Patience
I have mastered the art of patience. Hi, Mom of three here – I can match your pace of urgency; you just tell me when you want to get started.
If you feel we’d make a good fit, drop me a line and we can make the magic happen!
